Artist's Statement

I drew a sort of rough draft of this cartoon during the last Orange Alert, and was going to save it for the next jump in the national Terror Level, but then I reasoned, what the fuck. I'm living in New York right now, where we're always on Orange Alert. Plus really we're all on Orange Alert every day, if you think about it. And I'm not just talking about terrorism. Read the chapter "The Line" from Moby-Dick for elaboration, if you want it.

Although I am currently in New York I am from Baltimore, so for the benefit of my internet readers I will clarify that that is a Baltimore Colts helmet my friend Boyd is wearing.
